STATEMENT ON NON-ACA-COMPLIANT PLANS

We will request payment in full at time of service if your plan is a short-term medical plan, also known as a gap plan, regardless of network. Please be advised these plans do not cover many essential health benefits, including preventative care. In Kansas, some of these plans are sold by the following companies: Farm Bureau, Freedom Life, Golden Rule, Independence American, National General, and USHealth Group. Non-ACA-compliant plans also include "health sharing" plans, such as Medi-Share and Solidarity Health-Share. Health sharing plans are not health insurance.
